Legendary actress Doris Day dead at 97.
The Doris Day Animal Foundation confirmed that Doris Day died early Monday at her Carmel Valley, California, home.
The foundation’s statement said she was surrounded by close friends and “had been in excellent physical health for her age, until recently contracting a serious case of pneumonia.”
Rest in Peace Doris Day (April 3, 1922 – May 13, 2019), American actress, singer, and animal welfare activist.
