A contractor was performing road striping in Doral, Florida. Only one problem, they misspelled word SCHOOL!
It must have been late in the day. The developer sent a crew to repair the misspelling after it was brought to their attention. They were given a spelling test beforehand, though.
The city of Doral became aware of the situation and tweeted about it:
“This SCHOOL zone striping was handled by the developer’s contractor. They have been notified and are working expeditiously to correct. Thank you to all who brought this very important matter to our attention.”
During the repairs, the contractor was asked to comment and said:
“It’s not a good thing to misspell school.”
