“Buckle Up in your Truck”

The Lafayette Police Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, is conducting saturation patrols for the “Buckle Up in your Truck” campaign.

This campaign is being conducted thru Sunday April 28th.  Special emphasis will be placed on drivers of trucks, along with occupants, that fail to wear their seatbelt.   Drivers and passengers are reminded to utilize their seatbelts for safety.  Remember “Click it or Ticket”.
