A man recently claimed a McDonald’s in Hudson Valley, New York served him a Rum & Coke cocktail instead of Diet Coke.

According to the Hudson Valley Post, the man claimed the drink tasted like “strong rum and coke.” Workers at the McDonald’s went back and grabbed HD video of the altercation and proved that the man was not served an alcoholic beverage. After seeing the video, the man says he now believes the soda machine malfunctioned or there was something wrong with the Diet Coke syrup.
The owner operator said,
“Providing safe food and beverages to our customers is our priority. After reviewing the security footage together with the customer, we were able to confirm that nothing had been added to his beverage.”
