Vitaminwater just announced a new contest where they’ll pay someone $100,000 if they give up their phone for all of 2019.
The winner will have to go 365 straight days without using your smart phone, iPad, or anyone else’s smart phone or iPad. There’s also a lie detector test at the end of the contest to prove you didn’t break the rules.
If the winner goes the entire year, they get $100,000. If the participant makes it six months, they get $10,000. Still not bad??
Oh, and how about this, in case of emergencies, Vitamin Water will give a, quote, “1996-era cellular telephone” to be used for calls.
If you want to enter the contest, you need to post on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtags #NoPhoneForAYear and #Contest. You also have to tell them how you would spend your year without your phone! Entries are due by January 8th.
