DECEMBER 21st
Brookshire Grocery/Super 1 Foods is having their 37th Annual Spirit of Christmas Food Drive. They are collecting non-perishable food items now through Dec. 20th.
Merry-Making Season at the Shadows
Shadows-on-the-Teche will be dressed for the holidays in greenery highlighted with fruits, nuts, and berries. Colorful decorations, antique toys, and a Christmas tree decorated with period ornaments are all featured in period rooms. Seasonal tours, focusing on holiday celebrations in the nineteenth century, will be offered during the Shadows normal operating hours. Now through December 30th.
Tonight at LARC’s Acadian village Noel Acadien au Village will feature over half-a-million lights, classic carnival rides, local cuisine, holiday shopping, and live entertainment nightly. You can also take your picture with Santa in the LUS Fiber Pavilion to make a memory that will last a lifetime! Now through December 23rd.
When you are driving down North Parkerson Ave. in Crowley you and listen to the music that the more than 200,000 lights are synchronized to on 93.3 FM. Now through December 30th.
Tonight at the Zooisiana take a walk through the larger-than-life lighted displays of your favorite animals with you family and friends. You can also take a picture with Santa, enjoy hot cocoa, and do some holiday shopping in our gift shop.

Today at 3 and 5 at The Bayou you can experience the sounds of the season at our annual Christmas concert that has something for the whole family to enjoy. We will transport you to a Christmas wonderland as we set the tone for this joyful season through music, community and fun surprises for all ages. Our pastor will share a brief message about the hope that was born on Christmas for all to receive.
