Last Thursday, someone pulled a prank in Savannah, Georgia by sticking two ‘googly eyes’ on a statue of Revolutionary War Hero, Nathanael Greene.
The city was not amused, and posted on Facebook, quote, “It may look funny, but harming our historic monuments and public property is no laughing matter, in fact, it’s a crime.”
If somehow the googly eyes do more than $500 in damage, the crime will be considered a felony, criminal damage to property.
