New Orleans Saints lost to NFC South rival, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 48 – 40. The Black & Gold had a late rally, but couldn’t pull off the win. Let’s remember to not hit the panic button, it was the first game of the regular season. Plus, history shows the Saints have been slow to start the season, they haven’t won an opening game since 2013.

A Brees/Kamara connection happened late in the 4th qtr. to make it a one possession game, but it wasn’t enough to get the ‘W.’

New Orleans Saints offense put 40 on the board this week, and the defense gave up 48. All pro DE, Cam Jordan commented on the defensive performance, let’s hope it is ‘unacceptable’ and the Saints are back to prove something on defense next week!
Responsible for 41 pts on defense… UNACCEPTABLE…24 hr rule can’t come fast enough, we’ve got plenty to improve upon… We must improve rapidly; WE will improve this week #WhoDat
