This is a 5k run/walk for all ages of the community to kick off breast cancer awareness month. We will use the money we raise to cover the expense of a mammogram here at Acadia General Hospital for uninsured patients during the month of October. This is an event we would like to get all the community involved in. If you know someone who needs a mammogram but can’t afford it, you can give us their information when you sign up for the race and we will contact them to schedule their mammogram with the funds we received during registration. We will have a dunking booth, face painting, DJ, A meal will be provided after the race and many other activities and vendors. Packet Pickup will be race day 9/29/18 beginning at 7 a.m. at 1305 Crowley Rayne Hwy., Crowley. The Race proceeds covers expenses of mammograms for uninsured patients to have their mammogram done at Acadia General Hospital.
