Iconic guitar player, Ed King, joined Lynyrd Skynyrd back in 1972. He had been recently battling lung cancer. King died today in Nashville at the age of 68. No cause of death was specified. Ed King was also the founding member of Strawberry Alarm Clock in the 1960’s and had the hit “Incense and Peppermints.”
