Anamé Rose of New Iberia enjoyed a successful debut Monday Night on “American Idol.” The show was the beginning of Hollywood Week, when singers who had successful auditions started solo and group performances at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Rose’s group, nicknamed Super Dope Hotness, advanced to the next round after receiving high praise from celebrity judges Katy Perry and Luke Bryan. The competition continues with the solo rounds at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday on ABC.
