Krewe of Bonaparte to Roll at 6:00 p.m.
(LAFAYETTE – Friday, January 26) The Krewe of Bonaparte parade will roll at a new 6:00 p.m. start time on Saturday, February 10, 2018.
The four-mile parade starts at the corner of Simcoe, Surrey and Jefferson streets and ends at the Cajun Field. The Krewe of Bonaparte parade will include more than 700 riders on new themed floats, numerous bands and the new Ragin’ Cajun Head Football Coach, Billy Napier, as its Grand Marshall.
“The additional 30 minutes of ride time will allow the pace of the parade to slow down, giving parade goers and riders alike more time to enjoy the festivities,” said Krewe of Bonaparte Board President, Rachel Comeaux. “We look forward to seeing everyone on the parade route to celebrate Mardi Gras 2018.”
